Fees

I offer specialist clinical psychology services for children, young people, adults, and families, including therapy, neurodevelopmental assessments, consultation, and professional / medico-legal work.

I aim to be clear and transparent about fees from the outset. Final fees, scope, and what is included will always be confirmed in writing before work begins.

Standard Clinical Appointments

Assessment Appointments

  • £140 for 60 minutes

Therapy / Follow-up Sessions

  • £130 for 50 minutes

Appointments may be offered:

  • in person (Lincoln)

  • online

  • parent-focused sessions (where clinically appropriate)

  • family support sessions (where clinically appropriate)

Therapy Block Booking Option

For some therapy referrals, a planned block of sessions can be helpful for focused, goal-based work.

  • 6-session therapy block: 20% reduced session rate (when booked and paid for in advance)

This option is subject to clinical suitability and availability and will be discussed at the outset where appropriate.

Neurodevelopmental Assessments

ADHD Assessment

  • £800

ADHD assessments are tailored to the individual and typically include:

  • clinical interview

  • developmental history

  • rating scales / questionnaires

  • consideration of differential explanations

  • formulation

  • written report

  • feedback

Autism (ASD) Assessment

  • £2,250

Autism assessments are comprehensive and designed to provide a clear understanding of presentation, strengths, needs, and recommendations.

A full autism assessment may include:

  • screening / triage

  • detailed developmental history

  • clinical interview(s)

  • standardised assessment tools (as appropriate)

  • questionnaires / liaison (where relevant)

  • formulation

  • written report

  • feedback session

Combined Autism (ASD) + ADHD Assessment

  • £2,950

Combined assessments are often appropriate where there are overlapping neurodevelopmental questions and can provide a more joined-up formulation and recommendations.

Consultation and Formulation Packages

Parent Consultation & Recommendations Package

This package is designed for parents/carers who would like specialist clinical psychology input to better understand their child’s difficulties and receive practical recommendations, without committing to a full diagnostic assessment at the outset.

It may be helpful where there are concerns about:

  • anxiety

  • emotional regulation

  • behaviour

  • school-related distress

  • possible neurodivergence

  • parenting strategies and support needs

The package typically includes parent consultation sessions, review of relevant background information, and tailored recommendations.

  • Fees are discussed in advance and confirmed in writing (depending on scope and what is included)

Clinical Assessment, Formulation & Recommendations Package

This package is for families who would benefit from a more in-depth psychological assessment and a clear formulation of the difficulties, together with practical recommendations for home and/or school.

It can be particularly helpful when:

  • difficulties are complex or longstanding

  • there may be overlapping emotional, behavioural, developmental, or neurodevelopmental factors

  • the main goal is understanding and support planning (rather than a formal diagnosis)

This is not the same as a full autism or ADHD diagnostic assessment, though it may help clarify whether a specialist diagnostic assessment should be considered.

  • Quoted separately, depending on the referral question, complexity, and time required

Learning Needs and Neuropsychological Assessments

I can also complete assessments relating to:

  • learning needs

  • neuropsychological queries

These are quoted separately, depending on:

  • the referral question(s)

  • the type of assessment required

  • complexity

  • time needed for assessment, scoring, interpretation, and report writing

Medico-Legal and Professional Work

I have experience in:

  • medico-legal work

  • COP (Court of Protection) report work

Fees for medico-legal / professional work are quoted on a case-by-case basis depending on:

  • scope of instruction

  • records review requirements

  • report type

  • timescales

  • travel / attendance needs (if applicable)

  • A CV can be provided on request

Depending on the agreed work, additional charges may apply for:

  • extensive records review

  • additional professional liaison

  • school meetings / observations

  • urgent work / expedited turnaround

  • travel time

  • additional letters/forms outside the agreed scope

Any additional fees will be discussed and agreed in advance where possible.

Payment and Cancellation

  • Payment terms will be confirmed in writing before work begins.

  • A deposit or pre-payment may be required for assessments.

  • Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may be charged in full.

A Note on Service Type and Fees

Clinical psychology services are tailored to the individual and the referral question. Some people are looking for therapy, others for a diagnostic assessment, and others for a formulation-led consultation and recommendations.
